Exciting news for off highway…

30/10/23

Coming soon 10.11.23 – A series of Pico Academy videos showing how PicoScope can be used to diagnose a range of common problems found with Off Highway machinery. There is also a section showing how Pico can be used for some tests on Preventative Maintenance to help you keep your machinery running and preventing some possible future breakdowns.

With the biggest trade fair for agricultural and off highway equipment taking place between 12th - 18th November, Agritechnica 2023 will see over 3000 exhibitors and just under half a million visitors wanting to see what’s new. Agritechnica takes place in Hannover Messe and is set over 24 halls. You will find the Pico team, including myself, in hall 2 stand E56 where we will be demonstrating all things Pico. Do also join us in the live workshop area where Pico will be used on machines showing technicians how PicoScope can fit into their diagnostic process. If you would like to attend Agritechnica 2023, you can find out more on their website.

With the introduction of the Off Highway Pico kits launched at Automechanika last year, we are proud to bring the new stable release of PicoScope 7 Automotive which includes new tests designed with the off highway industry in mind.

These tests, in conjunction with the Pico Off Highway kit, will allow technicians to make a more accurate diagnosis whilst obtaining the evidence for warranty or to show the customer what is required. As Pico is connected to a laptop or PC, testing during standard maintenance means a profile of a machine's health can start to be built. Whether this is a non-intrusive exhaust pulse or crankcase test, to a more in-depth engine health test, having the ability to store results provides an overview of the machine health that can be compared at each service interval. By bringing in previously obtained results, problems can be spotted earlier preventing unwanted downtime.

Not only this but we will be releasing more and more off highway content in the coming months showing how Pico can be used to capture data that is imperative for diagnosing and fault finding on legacy, current and future machinery. Make sure to sign up to the Pico Automotive Newsletter to ensure you don’t miss out.
